Killing Spree System

In Diablo 4 S12 , the Killing Spree System which replaces the previous Sanctification mechanism as the core reward source. This system encourages fast monster clearing, creating a combat rhythm of "high attack speed + high clearing efficiency" to significantly enhance your looting and leveling experience. The core rule is straightforward: continuously slaying monsters accumulates your Killing Spree count and charges the Killing Spree bar, which resets only if you stop dealing damage or die (dying resets your count and forfeits all accumulated rewards). Bloodstained Gear is a new Seasonal item quality that can stack with Ancient quality, featuring exclusive "Bloodstained Affixes" deeply linked to the Killing Spree system. Weapon Affixes grant effects like Berserk status, skill cooldown reset, and resource regeneration for every set number of monsters slain. Armor Affixes increase Movement Speed, Critical Strike Chance, and reduce resource consumption with each Killing Spree tier (max tier grants 35% Movement Speed and 40% Critical Strike Chance). Accessory Affixes boost Experience gain and Item Drop Rate during Killing Spree to speed up your Seasonal progress. Additionally, 6 new universal Unique Items drop from Butcher's Den bosses, and Ancient Relics — endgame gear with 30% higher base stats and a customizable Ancient Affix — are the ultimate pursuit for Season 12.
